This rapid poses different technical challenges at different levels. Start out from the right and work your way back to the centre, picking early lines to skirt the numerous big rocks in the channel. Steady boat speed is essential. Don’t be hesitant – pick and line and stick to it, paddling hard. The rapid ends in a terrific set of waves at the exit.
